The Endo Brunch

The Endo Brunch is a meetup for women with endometriosis and other chronic illnesses. At this brunch you will get an opportunity to laugh, talk, and share with people within the endometriosis community.

It will take place at the Silver Light Tavern in Brooklyn, New York on March 14 and goes from 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm.

Endometriosis Foundation of America’s 11^th Annual Medical Conference and Surgeons Symposium: Reoperative Endometriosis

The conference and symposium will take place March 14 – 16 at the Alexandria Center in New York City.

• Patient Day will occur on Saturday, March 14 at the Alexandria Center in New York City starting at 9:00 am. It will feature panel discussions and breakout groups to help arm you with the tools you need to navigate your life with Endo. From nutrition and exercise to insurance coverage and fertility, this Patient Day will work to uncover the truth in every arena of this disease, at every age.

The Blossom Ball

EFA’s 11th Annual Blossom Ball will be held on March 16 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City starting at 6:00 pm.

Michael J. Dowling, President, and CEO of Northwell Health, and Dr. Lisa Sanders, a New York Times Magazine columnist and creator of Netflix’s “Diagnosis” will be honored.

George Washington University Hospital Endometriosis Monthly Support Group

As a part of their monthly support groups, the GW Hospital endo support will host a topic discussion on “Pain Management” presented by Dr. Mehul J. Desai.

It takes place on March 18, 2020 at the GWU Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Center in Washington, DC from 4:30pm – 5:30pm.

Get ready to paint DC Yellow! Join us for the 7th Annual Worldwide EndoMarch, Washington, DC EndoMarch Rally & Ribbon awareness event, taking place on Capitol Hill, in sisterhood with tens of thousands of Endometriosis Activists from around the world who’ll be marching in unison on Saturday, March 28, 2020 to continue fighting for Endometriosis Health Care Reforms & Equality.

US-based EndoMarch events are free, family-friendly, and open to all. Additional event details are still TBA. However, you can register here to reserve your spot and receive automatic email updates.

Hosted by Howard University, the Nezhat Family Foundation & EndoMarch HQ, join us for the 6th Annual Worldwide Endometriosis March (EndoMarch), taking place at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Capitol Hill, Washington, DC, from 2 pm – 6 pm on EndoMarch Day, Saturday, March 30, 2019.

Admission is free of charge and all are welcome for this family-friendly day to meet other Endo Sisters & Supporters who travel from across the country for the flagship Washington, DC event. Earlier this year, the Virginia General Assembly passed a resolution designating March as Endometriosis Awareness Month in the state of Virginia. Today, Delegate Mark Keam presented that resolution to us, giving his support not only to our mission for awareness and education, but to all women with endometriosis. Thank you so much Delegate Keam, Virginia lawmakers, and Governor Northam for your unwavering support of our cause. A special thank you to our co-founders Ronda Payne, Chandelis Duster, and Judy Mitchell for your vision of hope and passion to uplift women suffering with this painful disease. And thank you VA Hope volunteers, fellow endo sisters, Worldwide EndoMarch Headquarters, The Endometriosis Foundation of America, and families for your strength and encouragement. One day we will find a cure and we will do it together.

We were contacted today by Virginia Delegate Mark Keam’s office notifying us that a bill introduced in January of this year has become signed into law and is a permanent reminder that the Virginia Assembly supports the designation of March each year officially as Endometriosis Awareness Month. The House voted 98-0 and the Senate 38-0 in unanimous support for Virginia women.

On behalf of Virginia women affected by endometriosis, we would like to officially thank Delegate Mark Keam for his unwavering support and hard work to bring this matter to the forefront and we look forward to working with him in the future.
